What’s up guys! Happy Friday!
I just came back from a fun week in New York and I thought to share with you some highlights of the events, my outfits and my favorite places in New York city,
I never appreciate the weather in Vegas till I leave Vegas. It was sooo cold in New York already, luckily I stayed warm with cozy but stylish coats from Revolve Clothing. This is my third time in the big apple, and I won’t lie to you guys, it’s a love-hate relationship with NYC. There’s something magical about the city, the lights, the buildings, the effectiveness, the pizza! But this time I felt very claustrophobic, many times I felt very anxious and stressed out. It is wayyyy overcrowded for me; and loud. I thought I turned deaf after 3 ambulances passed by.
Not to mention the traffic and the risky driving of both, taxis and Lyft drivers. We witnessed 2 fights while we were in our Lyft against another driver that tried and actually cut our way. Let’s just say it’s different from Las Vegas. Yes, Vegas is crowded too but somewhat it doesn’t stress me out as much. We don’t have as much traffic and the spaces are much wider and open. One more thing I couldn’t tolerate as much is the weather. I am used to 130005860 degrees in Vegas so you can only imagine how cold It was for me, especially at night. During the day tho, with some sunshine, it was beautiful to walk around.
We stayed at the Dream Hotel Downtown as it’s hubby’s favorite since he’s been touring. On our first night, we walked around Times Square and grabbed dinner at Haru Sushi on 48th Street. The food was fantastic and the ambient very elegant. I live for sushi, and rolls, and mochi.
Finally the next day, on Tuesday, the #Revolvearoundtheworld week started. The first event was a gorgeous brunch at the Botanical Garden in Brooklyn. The place was magical! It was my first time ever. At brunch, I had the opportunity to see some Revolve friends and catch up while sipping mimosas and light treats.
For the occasion, I wore some black jeans from Grlfrnd Denim and a Brown sweater from L’academie. I completed the look with a Leopard faux fur coat from Majorelle and Public desire black sock booties.
I was soo happy hubby came with me, I’m always proud to show to events with him! He looks disoriented in the Revolve events as it’s 98% girls! LOL. After the event, we headed back to the hotel and walked around till we found the Chelsea Market, one of the coolest places ever!!! There were so many tasty food options and cute little shops, I got some cozy swears Anthropologie to warm up. And a bagel. And a white chocolate bar. Gluttony at its finest! After passing out for a few hours, we headed to TAO for some upscale sushi. It was right next to our hotel and vibe was just so awesome. I need to check out the one in Vegas!
The second Revolve event was at night by the Roxy hotel, it was a cute colorful little club we were partied till 3 am. For the occasion, I wore a 60’s inspired dress with my favorite YSL knee boots and a long great L’Academie grey coat.
The next day was the busiest, so I packed in my Chanel backpack a full outfit to take photos around the city. That I have to say it, I took the best photos of my entire Instagram! The building, the cabs in the backgrounds, the graffitis.. aaaah! They all will be missed. On that morning, Revolve had planned different workout sessions for the influencers, but I skipped in order to catch my meeting with Now & Zen pr. I had the chance to grab a gorgeous pink coat by Cinzia Rocca, one cute dress for my upcoming trip to Cabo, a vegan statement bag from Vevve Milano and some hot booties.
For my busy day, I opted for an elegantly chic look composed by a leather skirt by Majorelle, a white light sweater by Lovers & Friends, my YSL boots and I topped the look with a L’Academie Blazer.
Coat: Cinzia Rocca
For my 2nd meeting, I changed outfits and wore a cozy but fierce pink sweater dress by Tularosa. I met with another pr company to discuss a potential exciting sponsorship for the near future. We met at Plantshed, a nice little flower shop with sensational coffee and sweet bites. I recommend the red velvet cookie if you ever stop by. After that great meeting, we headed to FINALLY try the famous NY pizza! 🍕
We ended at a very Italian trattoria on Mulberry street. I MUST go back there, I felt like I was in Italy again! The pizza was amazing and the octopus to die for!!!! After such a long day we headed back to the hotel and ended up at Chelsea market again, yes, for some more chocolate.🍫 After a cat nap, we headed to the night event Revolve had planned at the Magic Hour, a rooftop bar and lounge with a breathtaking view. The best part of the night was the vodka gummy bears that got hubby hammered!!! For the event, I chose a total black outfit with a black leather skirt and a sexy black velvet bodysuit by …. With my favorite grey coat of the Season by L’Academie and my new Zanotti sandals. After lots of photos and some networking, it was time to go to sleep. Oh no wait, I almost forgot!! We were a little hungry so we Walked to CATCH at midnight for a quick bite. Funny fact I was basically in my pajamas and converse, but I looked very glamorous thanks to my cozy and fury Majorelle coat.
On our last day in NYC, I had 2 meetings planned, 1 Revolve event at Central Park and a plane to catch. Anxiety to miss the flight level 10495667. For my first meeting with the 3rd pr company, I opted for a yellow mini skirt by .. , a stylish Lover + Friends black sweater, my YSL boots again, my newest Prada bag and my super cozy Majorelle coat. It was cold, till the sun came up. At AMP pr, I chose a gorgeous Burgundy sweater, a mid skirt by Shop All in One, a gorgeous red dress and a furry pink. Coat by Lush. I can’t wait to style them in my upcoming posts! After the meeting, we headed to Central Park for a fun ice-skating experience with Revolve. And a tasty corn dog.
Hope you enjoyed reading my adventures in NYC! Every photo has a link to shop the outfits if you want to purchase any item.
I wish you a fantastic week my friends.
Much love, Naty
